Andrew McMahon. He’s influenced my musical taste since I was a little kid. His songs were the first ones that I really connected with, and though I’d always reacted more strongly than others to music and had a passion for it since birth, his is what really inspired me to start writing my own. Writing and creating music had become, and will always be, my entire life. I grew up with his music, and through Something Corporate, Jack’s Mannequin, his fight with cancer, he’s been there when sometimes no one else was. 

Also in the song Konstantine by Something Corporate (favourite song if I don’t talk about it enough), there’s a line about catching the clock at 11:11. People often say that 11:11 PM is technically actually the time 21:11. They say it only works if you wish on it in the AM. So I guess sort of a double meaning there, as he and the song are both quite important to me.

The placement of the tattoo is also ridiculously important too, but I don’t talk about that.
